Here we offer the scarce true first edition of F. Scott Fitzgeralds classic comic romp, The Vegetable, published by Charles Scribners Sons, New York, in 1923. The short-story-turned-to-play comes wrapped in the highest-quality, newly-remastered facsimile of soldes the first edition dust jacket that you can only get here, printed on coated heavyweight bond. The polymer coating on the paper ensures the brightest colors and sharpest prints, as the ink sits atop the paper rather than being absorbed into the fibers.

Boards are lightly worn with a faded spine(please see pics). Uninscribed endpapers are intact. Binding is very tight and square. Text is very clean, bright, and crisp. Measures approximately 7.75 x 5.5-inches. 145 pages, plus 2 pages of Fitzgerald ads. Dust jacket comes sleeved in ph-neutral Mylar and ready to slip into your collection.
